Ellie Gould, MS, CGC, attended The Pennsylvania State University, in State College, PA where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a concentration in genetics and developmental biology. She furthered her training at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center and The UT Health Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences in Houston, TX where she was awarded a Master of Science degree in Genetic Counseling. Ms. Gould has been a board-certified clinical genetic counselor since 2018.

Prior to joining Austin Maternal Fetal Medicine, she worked as a prenatal and preconception genetic counselor at Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Children's Hospital. She also counseled patients at the Texas Children's Fetal Center for a variety of indications. Additionally, she was the primary counselor for the Texas Children's Methodist Clinic.

Ms. Gould is an active member of several professional organizations including the National Society of Genetic Counselors, NSGC Prenatal SIG, NSGC Prenatal SIG subcommittee for Fetal Interventions, Texas Society of Genetic Counselors, and the American Board of Genetic Counseling.

In her time away from work, Ms. Gould enjoys exploring the many hiking trails Central Texas has to offer with her fiancé and their rambunctious German shorthaired pointer, Enzo.
